They have a new program going. If anyone complains to the corporate office, they will kick the complaint back down to the store manager. It doesn’t matter if they can answer the question or not. I tell you, what a crappy thing to do to your managers. Actually, I have gotten 2 calls already and guess what! They couldn’t answer my complaint.

One question I asked was; why do you raise the price of goods to coincide with a coupon being issued for that product. They did this with a new product called Flat Earth chips. The price without the coupon was $1.97 and when the coupon for $1.00 off 2 bags they raised the price to $2.97 a bag. That meant you were paying $2.00 more to get $1.00 off. I even called Frito-Lay and told them. I don’t know if anyone really cares but I refuse to shut-up. The Manager that had called me didn’t even have a full grocery store there. Crappy is Crappy.

I used to spend almost all of my food money at Wal-Mart. In the last month they are lucky to get ¼ of it. People need to check it out and make sure that is the best price. They used to have the lowest prices but I am finding out that Wal-Mart isn’t always competitive with the other grocers.

Then to make matter worse………

I purchased a couple if candy bars, left and found out that they are all unsealed. I traipse my ass back into the store to exchange them. I stopped at the door greeter’s and was lucky that day, I got four of them. One was sitting on her ass in one of the Handi-Capped buggies, the other one was staring at me zoned out and the third was talking to a fourth employee. I finally had to ask if I needed to a tag to return my candy bars and she said yes. After playing around with the machine she finally got it to work and tagged my candy bars. So at this point I have been ignored by no less than four employees at the door even though they had seen me standing there. Heaven forbid we all know that you have to get a return tag or I think guns come out of the side walls and shoot you!

Before returning the candy I tried to get two new candy bars and found the entire box of candy bars open, so I took them all with me. Now I am at the Customer Service desk, standing on the invisible line waiting for someone to acknowledge and help me. Well no one does because the three employees are talking and looking in the phone book for something. The one that has the book looks up sees me and asks me if I know the phone number to the thing they are looking for. I tell her no so they all go back to talking and looking. After a couple more minutes they cannot find what they are looking for and decide to wait on me. Now she doesn’t greet me or even utter a word, she uses her index finger to tell me that I can cross that line to the desk.

What is wrong with these people?

This was six employees in one day. Is this all Wal-Mart has to pick from when hiring employees. It’s very sad that any store would have to resort to hiring people like this at all.

I know that these people are under paid, but that is no excuse for treating people badly. I didn’t go into the store with my attitude out, yelling at them. I think the next time this happens I am going to simply ask for a manager. If they happen to ask me why, I will simply tell them that I would prefer to talk to a person that might actually give a shit that I am standing here. They can keep on doing what they are doing because obviously it was more important than helping me.

Maybe I should get a job at Wal-Mart.
Bottom line is..Bad attitudes, Bad Prices.
